What to expect for Fair Ads Network

Coming up next week is the completion of the integration process we’ve been talking about for months. You might be wondering why it has taken so long. I’ll be honest – we didn’t have enough funding. We’re a small ad network of 2 people separated halfway around the world with different languages, time zones, cultural background, business experiences and 16 years of age, but we’re keeping it real and carrying out FAN’s vision.

Our small size allows us to share a closer connection with you that corporate giants can’t enjoy (that’s why you see me in the forum so much, lol). Changes are easier, implementations are faster, and evolving is more natural. Now, the hardest part has been the funding. Without that, we can’t really do much obviously. We can’t hire additional programmers and we have to do what we can on our free time.

Recently though, our very first investor (Ross Giddings – thanks, bud!) sent us some additional funding in order to proceed and finish a few missing pieces, such as the integration with our search engine partner. This is such a big deal because it will be able to bring in thousands of high paying ads that will help FAN and publishers make a lot of money.

Here’s where we need your help with this. In order to get a full calculation of how many ads we can handle, we need you to insert our FAN codes into your websites. It has to be a text ad though. I know some of you still have it on your pages, but there are also many members who have removed the codes due to a lack of ads. We need you to put it up for just a little longer. What do you have to lose?

Login and get the code by creating a text ad campaign (please make sure you’re using text ads). Half banners and full banners will be the ideal choice right now.

Please do it today, do it now. We need to gather the data and be able to present it to our partner. We need to show them that we need A LOT of ads. The more impressions and exposure we can provide, the more and higher paying ads we’ll get.

I’ll go ahead and say it now: I’m sorry if all you see are default FAN ads. Just bear with us a little longer. We’ve been so quiet and haven’t promoted FAN in any way since our launch, but it’s our moment to shine. You can even help by talking about the completion of our integration next week or buzz about the ASRP (Ad Sharing Revenue Program) coming up. Our goal this year is to complete everything we had set out to do. That includes a program for non-profit organizations, VIRAL video ads, CPA and many more.

This opportunity alone has opened new doors for us. We’ll not only finish the integration, but we’ll also fix those annoying bugs, add new features and probably a new product or two by the end of October. Among the additions is the ASRP in which we’ll be testing through Qassia.com. Qassia is a knowledge base site similar to wikipedia, but the difference is members can share revenue with Qassia. In fact, members earn 100%! You can participate during this experiment by registering there.

This letter is long enough, so I’ll save the details for another day. I almost forgot. If you want the tips for this week, jump on over to my blog. I think I’m going to host all future tips there. So much easier to archive that way.

Best Regards,
Kevin Lam
